George R. Andersen

Business Administrator


George graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1985 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance and Economics) and a Bachelor of Science - German.

After settling in Utah in 1989, George began a long and sustained career in the mortgage business as both a mortgage broker and a mortgage banker in the following capacities:

  • Loan Officer with Richards Woodbury Mortgage
  • Vice President of Mortgage One
  • Owner/Manager of PHC Mortgage
  • Owner/Manager or Mortgage Financial Group, 1999–Present

Other professional services and accomplishments during this time include:

  • Board Member of the Utah Mortgage Lenders Association 1998 and 1999
  • Continuing Education Instruction for the Utah Division of Real Estate, 2009–Present
  • Active real estate investor since 1992, having owned commercial properties, dozens of rental properties, raw land, subdivision development, renovation projects, new construction, private money lending, self-directed Roth IRA investments and other areas of specialized real estate financing.

George and his wife Helen have 10 children together and remain active in both church and community in the US as well as the Philippines.

John Galley

For decades, John Galley was a licensed real estate attorney in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth and received his law degree from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law.


A Starker Exchange legal writing assignment in law school marked the beginning of his interest in 1031 Exchanges. And this eventually led to the formation of his 1031 Exchange-Qualified Intermediary Company.


As his 1031 Exchange reputation grew. John became a frequent and popular speaker to local, state and national groups about 1031 exchanges.

  • Has acted as a qualified intermediary for decades, doing thousands of 1031 exchanges.
  • taught by the two lawyers who wrote the 1991 Exchange regulations for the IRS and Treasury Department.
